Nepalese Currency - Paper
The currency in Nepal is a study in the rich history and proud heritage of the Kingdom. The paper bills are colorful and feature fascinating views of the lands unique wildlife and stately portraits of the lineage of kings. During the Dashain festival it is a tradition to give out crisp, new Rupee bills to a persons junions, so the national bank prints an extra supply for that season. Here is a list and description of the paper currency of the Nepalese Rupee, with the base color and the animal depicted on the reverse side. The King is depicted on the front of each wearing the royal crown. Each of them also has a watermark, which is an imprint of the King or the crown.
